Dill is used for picking, preserving, soups, sauces, salads from vegetables, potatoes, meat and fish. Dill is suitable for snacks and for preparing meat. Goes well with parsley, chives, cucumber, basil. Dill is also popular in Scandinavia or Indian dishes.

Dill was first described on Ebers’ papyrus 1500 BC. In the Middle Ages, dill was used as an amulet before witchcraft and dill was burned to dissipate the storm cloud.
